SAFETY & RULES

 

To be sure of service, please put your trash out the night before your service day, or by 5:30 a.m. the day of service, as trucks will start collecting by 6:00 a.m.

 

All trash will be collected from the area immediately surrounding your underground container or alley, as we will not come up on your property. Ensure that the area surrounding your underground can is clear of plants, vehicles, etc. that could prohibit our employees from safely emptying your trash can.

 

Please do not put anything you want to keep near your trash can – we do not want our employees to accidentally dispose of something not intended for the trash. If you use a box or other container to dispose of trash but want to keep the box or container, please mark “SAVE” clearly on the side so our workers can see it. If you want it taken, mark “PLEASE TAKE” on the side.

 

Trash must be contained in regulation sized cans (not to exceed 35 gallons), bags, or boxes in a manner not to be considered unsafe and not to exceed 50 pounds. Heavy underground cans can be hazardous to our workers’ health! Citrus from your trees, for example, can add up to a lot of weight. Placing these heavy loads in a container above the ground can help immensely.
